For our Client, international distribution company, we are looking for the candidate for the position of:
CATEGORY MANAGER (food)
Workplace: Warsaw
Responsibilities:
- Defining and implementation of buying and selling strategy
- Acquiring new suppliers and negotiating contracts and conditions of cooperation
- Sourcing and introduction of new products from foreign and domestic suppliers
- Daily contact with key clients
- Developing category(ies) and building the assortment
- Cooperation with different department in a company (marketing, logistics)
- Collecting and analysing of market information
- Negotiating purchase prices and budget management
- Expanding knowledge about products
Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in similar position
- Very strong negotiating and analytical skills
- Experience in international trade
- Good team players and ability to engaged with others
- Ability “to think out the box”
